In 1917 Mr Albert Boyd Butt decided the time was right to specialise in electrical equipment for the new fangled motor car, and so with very little capital set up premises in All Saints Road, Leicester.
This far sighted vision quickly paid off, and in 1931 the company, now with 20 employees, moved into premises on Queen Street opposite the Odeon cinema. By this time we had become agents for Lucas Electrical and Batteries, a partnership that has continued to this day. |
